Stretching daily is essential just to maintain the mobility you enjoy now. With this series of stretches you are creating a base of movement, a foundation for any other system of exercise you may do. By pinpointing and waking up neuromuscular pathways you haven’t been utilizing before, this will train you to initiate torso movement from your pelvis rather than your back.
This is a dance based series of stretches that will gradually strengthen and tone your body in a way that is at once energizing, stabilizing and non stressful. There are no sit ups or exercises that torque the spine. As the training progresses you’ll notice that your daily posture will begin to change, as your sitting, walking and bending comfortably alters. Once you are familiar with the stretch routine it can be done easily in 20 minutes in your home or anywhere there is a mirror and common furnishings.
